About CFC

What’s in a name? The concept of Care Full Conflict (CFC) evolved following decades of work with leaders and organizations during which we observed that important events in an organization must involve conflict in order to assure innovative and effective solutions.

Consider the following:

  • Decisions concerning strategy, marketing, finance, budgets, compensation, product development, staffing, customer care, legal, regulatory, or public relations. Each of these plays an important role in mission success and each typically involves discussion from differing vantage points.
  • Change theory holds that change itself involves conflict between those for or against the proposed change.
  • Diversity among management, employees, customers, or other stakeholders assures opportunity for conflict due to the varied perspectives.

How, or whether, conflict is managed is critical to long-term success. The fact that conflict is not immediately evident does not mean it is not present. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence (Carl Sagan). Everyone knows that sugarcoating, rug-sweeping, and see-no-evil approaches usually come back to haunt you. We have come to recognize that conflict competency is essential for success in any business or profession, especially prior to significant change or anticipated increases in diversity.

CFC provides leadership training and coaching that assists professionals at all levels to develop conflict competency. We embrace innovative delivery methods to meet the training and development needs of busy professionals across the globe. Our blended approach to learning leverages the combined benefits of online training and personalized coaching. Our online courses allow you to progress at a comfortable pace while live teleconference training and coaching are personalized to meet your unique circumstances.

We invite you to explore our capability and resources to see how we can enhance your performance and add value to your clients.
